Welcome to Cave Run Cabins ! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and your stay at our cabins located at Cave Run Lake in Kentucky. By booking a reservation or accessing our services, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking and Reservations

  • Reservation Process : All reservations must be made through our official website or authorized booking platforms. A valid payment method is required to secure your reservation.
  • Confirmation : Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation with details about your stay, including check-in/check-out times and cabin-specific information.
  • Minimum Stay Requirements : Certain holidays or peak seasons may require a minimum number of nights for booking. These requirements will be clearly stated during the booking process.
  • Age Restrictions : Guests must be at least 25 years old to book a cabin unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

2. Payment Policies

  • Deposit : A deposit may be required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due prior to or upon arrival, as specified in your reservation confirmation.
  • Accepted Payment Methods : We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and other approved payment methods.
  • Cancellation Policy :
    • Cancellations made more than 14 days before your scheduled arrival date are eligible for a full refund.
    • Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival, but not within 2 days of arrival date, are eligible for a 50% refund.
    • Cancellations made within 2 days of arrival date will result in forfeiture of the full reservation amount.
    • No-shows will result in forfeiture of the full reservation amount.
  • Modifications : Changes to reservations (e.g., dates, cabin type) are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-In Time : Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM. Early check-ins may be accommodated based on availability and must be arranged in advance.
  • Check-Out Time : Standard check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-outs may incur additional charges unless prior approval is granted.
  • Access Instructions : Detailed instructions for accessing your cabin will be provided via email prior to your arrival.

4. Guest Conduct and Responsibilities

  • Occupancy Limits : Each cabin has a maximum occupancy limit, which includes adults, children, and infants. Exceeding this limit may result in additional charges or immediate eviction without a refund.
  • Quiet Hours : Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please respect neighboring guests and the peaceful environment of Cave Run Lake.
  • No Smoking : Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all cabins. Designated outdoor smoking areas may be available.
  • Pets : Pets are allowed only in designated pet-friendly cabins and must adhere to our Pet Policy . Unauthorized pets may result in additional cleaning fees or eviction.
  • Prohibited Activities : Illegal activities, excessive noise, parties, or any behavior deemed disruptive are not permitted and may result in immediate termination of your stay without a refund.

5. Liability and Safety

  • Waiver of Liability : Cave Run Cabins is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings during your stay. Guests assume all risks associated with their visit.
  • Property Damage : Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused to the cabin or its contents beyond normal wear and tear. A security deposit may be required for certain reservations.
  • Emergency Procedures : In case of an emergency, contact the local authorities immediately. Emergency contact information for our staff will also be provided upon check-in.

6. House Rules

  • Cleaning Fee : A mandatory cleaning fee applies to all reservations. This ensures the cabin is prepared for the next guest.
  • Trash Removal : Guests are required to dispose of trash in designated bins prior to check-out. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.
  • Furniture and Decor : Do not remove furniture, decor, or appliances from the cabin. Any missing items will be charged to the guest.
  • Fire Safety : Open fires are only permitted in designated fire pits or grills. Never leave fires unattended.

7. Weather and Acts of Nature

  • Cave Run Cabins is located in a natural setting, and weather conditions may affect accessibility or amenities. We are not responsible for disruptions caused by inclement weather, power outages, or other acts of nature.

8. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes. Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
